American Security Services no longer offers Live Scan fingerprinting services for outside clients or the general public.
If you need Live Scan fingerprinting, please use the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s Licensed Fingerprint Vendor List to locate another fingerprint provider.

PERC Applications:
If you’re applying for a PERC for the first time, we recommend reviewing our PERC Application Guide before beginning your application.
If you’re looking to start working as soon as possible, we recommend completing your application as early as possible. The application process typically takes 15–30 minutes. Once submitted, it generally takes the IDFPR approximately 4–6 weeks to activate your license.
After your fingerprints show a status of “Eligible,” you can complete the remaining application steps and then schedule an interview with one of our hiring managers, if applicable.
