Our Fingerprint Services

We provide Live Scan Fingerprinting during the following hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am to 4:45pm
  • Friday: 9am to 12:45pm

PERC Applications:

Please note that PERC applications must be completed directly on the IDFPR website. You can create an account and submit your application using a smartphone or home computer. For detailed instructions on the steps needed to properly apply for the PERC, please refer to our PERC Application Guide.

No appointments are necessary. Please bring a valid state ID, driver’s license, passport, FOID card, or military ID. Our fee for fingerprinting services is $120. We accept all major credit/debit cards.

Less common types of fingerprinting services we provide and their fees are below:
UCIA (Uniform Conviction Information Act) – $60
ISP only prints (usually for Early Intervention Services) – $60
 

We CANNOT provide fingerprints for the list below:

  • Chicago Board of Education
  • Child Care License
  • Illinois Gaming Riverboats/Gambling License
  • Unlicensed Day Care
  • Video Gaming Licensee
  • Health Care Worker Background Check
For the above fingerprints, contact the agency requesting your background check for a list of locations that can perform them.

Please note that we only offer digital Livescan fingerprinting. We do not offer ink fingerprinting at this time.

PERC Applications

We can process your fingerprints for $120, but you must complete the PERC application on your smartphone or home computer.

If you’re looking to start working as soon as possible, we recommend applying for your license immediately. The application process takes about 15-30 minutes. Once submitted, it typically takes the IDFPR 4-6 weeks to activate your license. After your fingerprints show a status of “Eligible,” you can complete the application and then schedule an interview with one of our hiring managers.
