With American Security Services, you get a unique management hierarchy and a dedicated Account Manager.

The Account Managers are dedicated to acting as a liaison between our clients and our Operations Department.

Their top priorities include:

  • Staffing the best officers available to represent our clients in a professional manner.
  • Assigning officers whose skill set best matches the individual needs of each client.
  • Developing security and safety programs that address our client’s needs.
  • Generating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures that are detailed, yet user friendly, allowing our officers to understand and execute their responsibilities.
  • Offering our clients innovative technology allowing officers and management to collect, organize and deliver security information more efficiently.
  • Using advanced GPS technology to track our officers and ensure they are on task
  • Handling daily security operations so clients may focus on operating their businesses.
Operational Support

American divides our Chicagoland operations into north and south geographical areas to achieve logistical efficiencies and accountability.

Operations Manager (OM) designated for each area

  • Oversee their Assistant Operations Managers (AOM) staffing and scheduling.
  • Conduct second interviews with all candidates selected by their AOM.
  • Show candidates video summary and video training of post assignment to help determine if they are a proper fit for client.
  • Confirm schedules are accurate and positions are staffed with quality officers.
  • Conduct thorough background checks of all candidates.
  • Oversee 8 Field Supervisors and managing their itineraries.
  • Manage our Mobile Security Management System (MSMS).

Assistant Operations Managers (AOM’s)

  • Conduct interviews, staff and schedule security officers.
  • Confirm employee requirements are met and in compliance.
  • Confirm payroll data is accurate.
  • Issue uniforms and supplies.

Field Lieutenants-Supervisors (LT’s)

  • Eight Field Lieutenants-Supervisors are outfitted with company vehicles and make unannounced quality assurance post inspections.

Special Response Officers (SRO’s)

  • American maintains a staff of four Special Response Officers that are each trained at multiple client facilities and are available to fulfill any emergency staffing needs.

Dispatchers (DP’s)

  • American has 24-hour dispatching to allow our Officers and clients access to management 24-7.Dispatchers are responsible for ensuring that any open posts are filled with quality, well-trained Officers.
